In mid-November 2022, isolved announced the availability of isolved People Cloud™ for Quick-Service Restaurants (QSRs). This version of People Cloud solves for human capital management (HCM) challenges peculiar to QSRs. Customers of isolved in the QSR space “experience quick time-to-value by retiring multiple systems in favor of an HCM suite that costs less and integrates with brand-issued systems,” the vendor’s related press release states.

Context and Background

In February 2022, isolved launched People Cloud for Healthcare Services, the first in a planned ongoing series of industry vertical–adapted versions of the vendor’s HCM suite (3Sixty Insights 3SIMA2231 – “isolved Launches a Version of its People Cloud Suite Tailored for the Medical and Health Industries,” March 2022). Later came a version for employers in manufacturing. For QSRs, the latest builds on this expanding campaign by isolved to provide industries with pronounced, idiosyncratic challenges in HCM with suites to match.
Helping to inform the latest launch is isolved’s late-summer acquisition of AAP, a member of the vendor’s sizable network of administrative services organizations (ASOs), professional employer organizations (PEOs), and payroll service bureaus using People Cloud to serve their client bases. About 65 percent of the client base that comes with AAP comprises QSRs. The attendant knowledge at AAP, now branded as isolved, likely proved helpful as the vendor developed the QSR-tailored version of its HCM software suite.
