3Sixty Insights welcomes Lance Haun as Principal Analyst. Lance will contribute research and analysis focused on HR, workplace technology, talent, and the changes affecting organizations and the people within them.
His practitioner background and experience translating complex industry developments into accessible stories will support the firm’s commitment to delivering research grounded in the experiences and priorities of technology buyers.

Lance spent nearly a decade working in HR, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges organizations face as they navigate people, technology, and workplace transformation. His career in writing and industry research began in 2005, when he started blogging and later took on his first paid writing role with career website Vault.com. He went on to editorial and community leadership roles with TLNT and SourceCon at ERE Media, where he developed a reputation for covering the people, practices, and technologies shaping the HR and recruiting landscape. He later joined The Starr Conspiracy, where he ultimately served as vice president of market insights, leading thought leadership and industry positioning.
His perspective has been featured in Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, MSNBC, and Fast Company, and he has spoken at the SHRM Annual Conference, HR Tech Conference, and ERE Recruiting Conference. He is also a regular guest on HR and work-tech podcasts and webinars.
