Q: Nicole, what inspired you to start your entrepreneurial journey?
Nicole: In December 2022, I experienced two major life shifts within just nine days—I was laid off from my role at a tech startup and diagnosed with breast cancer. As a single mom, unemployed and suddenly facing a life-threatening illness, I had to find a way forward. Starting my business, People Solutions Group, gave me a way to generate income and, equally important, something to focus on besides my illness. I’m grateful to be cancer-free today, and those early days taught me the true power of community and resilience.
